ASI TYSA 2024
Dear Members of ASI & Residents in Surgery,
The Phase – 1 of ASI TYSA 2024 got completed on 31st May 2024. Top 24 students from all four Zones will move to the Phase – 2 of the competition which will again be an online programme.
Phase – 2 of assessment will be based on “INVESTIGATIONS” done in surgical practice for Diagnosis, Staging, Assessment of response to treatment, aiding surgeons to draw and alter their treatment.
This phase – 2 will be conducted in the month of July 2024 from Monday to Thursday (4 days) in a week from 8 to 10 PM (2 hrs). Each candidate gets 20 minutes and will have two sets of Investigations. Each set will have two examiners. Thus in a day, there will be assessment for six candidates. Thus one zone will have 24 participating students & 96 faculty from that region. The programme will be live telecasted to a private “Facebook Page” “ASI Academics” to which the admission is open ONLY to ASI Members. Zone – 2 — Assam, Manipur, Tripura, Meghalaya, Sikkim, Nagaland, Mizoram, Arunachal Pradesh, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar, Chhattisgarh & Odisha
– August 17 & 18 – Kolkata
Zone – 3 — Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Delhi, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Chandigarh, Punjab, Rajasthan and Jammu & Kashmir
– September 27, 28 & 29 – Delhi
Zone – 4 — Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat & Goa
– August 30, 31 & September 1 – Ahmedabad
