The Association of Surgeons of India as in the past is conducting "Regional Refresher Courses" in six zones in India. Due to the corona pandemic, we will be conducting the event on a web based platform.

Top sixteen students selected through MCQ in each zone will get the chance to move to the clinical rounds. Senior experienced faculty from each zone will be asking questions as in MS/DNB exit examination.

There will be a competitive assessment of these candidates and selection from each zone for the final round. The deliberations here will be contemporary clinical thoughts.

Each RRC will be spanned over two hours a day for four days a week.

Last date for Registrations is Monday 29th July 2022.

Registration is MANDATORY, but is FREE to all, including PG student members of ASI (Associate members). If you are already registered and your registration is confirmed by mail, you need NOT register again. In case you need and clarification please mail to [email protected]

All the six RRCs this year would be held on a web based platform. Each Zone will have presentations from Residents selected through an MCQ test. To ensure equal opportunity, Faculty would be identified exclusively from the respective Zone where the RRC is held.

Please note that ONLY Registered members will be sent the link to participate in the programme. They alone would have exclusive access to attend ALL the six RRCs, which provides an unrestricted platform for unique "pan India' exposure to teachers & teaching from all across the Country.

Surgical Residents are actively encouraged to become ASI Members to avail all the benefits of Membership of Asia Pacific's largest & the world's second largest surgical Organisation. Residents would be given Associate membership status, which would be automatically converted to Full Life membership with no additional charge after submitting the MS/DNB completion Certificate to ASI Head office.
