NOTICE FOR THE ANNUAL GENERAL BODY MEETING OF ASI 2021

Notice is hereby given to members of the Association of Surgeons of India for its 81st Annual General Body Meeting (GBM) scheduled to be held at the 81st Annual Conference of the Association of Surgeons of India. Due to the ongoing COVID pandemic, it was decided that ASICON 2021 will be held on virtual platform and hence the GBM will be held by electronic medium at 8 PM on 19.12.2021. Link to this program will be sent in due course.

The 81st Annual Conference of the Association of Surgeons of India will be held from 17th to 19th of December 2021 at Virtual Platform. The Agenda for the 81st GBM is attached herewith. Any inputs/suggestions/comments/queries for discussion/answers should be sent to [email protected] by 5th December 2021. Those issues that merit floor discussion would be deferred to next GBM (2022).

The Annual Report of 2021 containing, Report of activities of ASI, Report of Sections / Chapters for 2021, Audited Accounts Statement of ASI / IJS, revised budget 2021-22, budget estimate 2022-23 of ASI & IJS, Minutes of the Executive Committee Meeting held on 13th December 2020 at Virtual platform, Minutes of the Annual General Body Meeting held on 19th December 2020 at Virtual platform, Minutes of the Executive Committee Meeting with incoming President held on 20th December 2020 at Virtual platform, Minutes of the combined Meeting of Office Bearers of Chapters & Sections held on 23rd March 2021 at Virtual platform, Minutes of the Executive Committee Meeting held on 10th January & 18th April 2021 at Virtual Platform, Minutes of the (Opinion gathering) Executive Committee Meeting held on 23rd May & 30th June 2021 at Virtual Platform, Minutes of the Executive Committee Meeting held on 5th September 2021 on Virtual Platform are included in the annual report which is being made available at ASI website.

Entry to the General Body Meeting is restricted only to the Full Life members of the ASI.
