The Regional Refresher Courses (RRCs) are all set to start from the 2nd of August 2021. The MCQ examinations to select the top students from each zone are at different stages of completion. As in the last year all RRCs will be held in a web based e-learning platform.

Registration is Mandatory, but is FREE to all, including Postgraduate student members of ASI (Associate members). The last date for registration is 25th July 2021.

All the 6 RRCs will be broadcasted live to a “private Facebook page”- “ASI Academics”. Those who are already admitted last year in this Facebook page will continue to be there and need not do anything further except to check and confirm their status. But the newly registered members need to visit & leave a request at the Facebook page after completing registration.

The RRCs would be held between 9 pm – 11 pm from Monday to Wednesday to ensure maximum delegate participation. There will be discussion on clinical cases, X-rays, Scans, Surgical Instruments and devices, Pathology specimens, ostomies, fistulaes etc. Each topic will be covered in a structured manner by senior faculty from that region.

Zone-6 Monday 6th to Wednesday 8th September 2021
Punjab, HP, Chandigarh, Haryana, UP, New Delhi, Jammu & Kashmir

Surgical Residents are actively encouraged to become ASI Members to avail all the benefits of Membership of the world’s second largest surgical Organisation. Residents would be given Associate life membership status, and would automatically get converted to Full Life membership with no additional charge after submitting the MS/DNB degree Certificate.
